University Games adds to sales team head count

Jessica Foreshew joins games and puzzles specialist as national account manager.

Games and puzzles specialist, University Games has welcomed Jessica Foreshew to the team as national account manager, following the acquisition of The Lagoon Group last month.

Jessica (pictured) has a wealth of experience in the gift sector, having joined The Lagoon Group in 2019, where she focused on national and major accounts as well as working with international distributors.

She will work alongside University Games’ head of sales, Mark Jones, on major national accounts across both the toy and gift sectors.

“Jessica is a fantastic asset to our sales team,” commented Mark. “She has brought with her a wealth of both customer and product knowledge that she has been able to share with our entire sales force, enabling them to get quickly up to speed on a large new product portfolio and customer relations.

“University Games has an extremely strong and successful sales team supporting our independent retailers across the whole of the UK. This is not something that has been part of the Lagoon sales strategy in the past, but something that I am certain will be a huge benefit for the product range and Jessica will be vital in helping to support this.”

Mark continued: “There is a great synergy between University Games and The Lagoon Group and the acquisition has opened avenues for both businesses across both the toy and gift sectors. Lagoon’s distribution into gift stores, garden centres, book shops and tourist outlets very much complements the areas where we are strong as a business.”
