Close creates Pop-in charity print

Award-winning baby product company Close has partnered with baby charity Bliss and ethical preschool retailer Babipur to create a new Pop-in charity print.

The new ‘Superhero’ print will be available across a range of popular Close products, with £3 from the sale of each item being donated to Bliss, oto help the charity as it supports babies born premature or unwell.

“We couldn’t be happier to be working with Babipur to support such a worthwhile charity,” said Hester MacAnara, business development director. “We have always been in awe of the good work Bliss have been doing over the past 40 years and so we really wanted to give a little back on behalf of the 1 in 13 parents out there whose babies will arrive prematurely.”

She continued: “We sincerely hope people love the print and get behind it, so we can raise money to help Bliss help even more families starting their parenting journey under the most difficult circumstances.”

The Bliss charity has some personal significance for the team at Close as Claire Morris, sales director, delivered her first child at 29 weeks and is eternally grateful for the support and information she and her husband received from the charity.

“We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Close & Babipur,” commented Bliss chief executive Justin Irwin. “The money raised through the sales of the new superhero range will help us get closer to our goal of ensuring that every baby born premature or sick has the best chance of survival and quality of life.”

Peter Barton founder of Babipur also commented on the partnership, saying: “We’re super proud to be supporting Bliss through this fun little heroes print. Our customers are naturally very eco conscious so they love products like the Pop-in reusable nappy… we are sure to raise lots of money through these sales.”

The exclusive charity print collection is released in July and will be available from www.closeparent.com and www.babipur.com.
