iCandy demonstrates commitment to sustainability

iCandy has achieved the ISO 14001 certification, established a dedicated sustainability taskforce and launch of the Regen pushchair.

The new initiatives underscore iCandy’s commitment to recognising the part it plays in environmental responsibility.

Mark Bradbury, head of technical and environmental management representative at iCandy, said: “The establishment of our sustainability taskforce and the attainment of ISO 14001 certification demonstrate our pledge to integrating environmental considerations into every aspect of our day-to-day operations.

“This represents a step-change in our sustainability journey as a business, and committing to maintaining our newly-established environmental management system and making incremental changes will pave the way for substantial positive impact.”

The sustainability taskforce, comprised of cross-functional team members, will spearhead iCandy’s sustainability initiatives, implementing best practices to minimise environmental impact across the organisation.

Meanwhile, ISO 14001 certification validates iCandy’s commitment to its environmental management system, ensuring compliance with international standards and continuous improvement in environmental performance.

In conjunction with these milestones, iCandy is proud to unveil the iF Award-winning iCandy ReGen concept pushchair. With one in four customers (24%) admitting to paying more for a ‘sustainable product’ and putting a brand’s sustainability practice above most other factors, the iCandy Regen pushchair blends design with environmentally responsible practices.

iCandy ReGen is a fully circular, sustainable stroller designed for the future generation of consumers who place societal and environmental considerations at the heart of their purchasing without compromising on functionality, aesthetics or value.

Working with PDR design consultancy and applied research facility, the iCandy ReGen concept pushchair features eco-friendly fabrics, responsibly sourced materials, and recyclable components. With its innovative design and eco-conscious ethos, iCandy ReGen represents a world-leading step forward in sustainable luxury for parents.
