Clarion Events will be launching its popular UK-based consumer pregnancy and parenting event The Baby Show in Johannesburg, South Africa this year. The new show will be taking place from the 28 – 30 September 2018 at the prestigious and legendary Kyalami International Convention Centre.

“SA’s pregnancy and baby market will now be able to become part of and benefit from the same quality and world-class event delivery that has served over 1.2 million parents in the UK to ensure they give their baby the best start in life,” stated Nicole Muller, portfolio director of Clarion’s South African branch.

The South African show will be called The Baby Show and #MeetUp, reflecting a partnership with Meg Faure, founder of South Africa’s premium TedEx style seminar series, #MeetUp.

The partnership will create a unique long-term and sustainable industry annual showcase, offering visitors the opportunity to shop 1,000s of products from 100s of international brands, as well as access to expert information and advice. The show is expected to attract over 15,000 high-income earning visitors over three days, including expectant and new parent and parents with babies and young children up to four-years-old..

The two platforms will provide a new and fresh opportunity to access a wide range of products and services to the diverse and expanding South African consumer market. It will also be the ideal environment for the industry to influence the buying decisions of South African consumers.

The Baby Show and #MeetUp is also a perfect opportunity for UK brands to demonstrate your products to an emerging market.
