Stems inventor picks up Creative Award

Learning Resources confident that range will be an “enormous success”.

The inventor of the Stems construction toy – which is part of Learning Resources’ portfolio – has been honoured with a national award.

Euan Lind picked up the Scottish EDGE Creative Award 2018 for the toy after successfully pitching live at The Royal Bank of Scotland Conference Centre last week.

The prize included £50,000 worth of funding to continue to develop his work on the toy, which Euan says ‘inspires curiosity and opens up opportunities for active discovery’.

Learning Resources is now confident that Stems will be a success at retail.

Dennis Blackmore, md of Learning Resources, commented: “We are delighted that Euan has been recognised by winning this award. We believe Euan has created that rarest of products in the international toy industry – a truly unique new construction toy – and we are confident that Stems will be an enormous success.”
