Second Harrogate Digital Show to take place this autumn

A second Harrogate Digital Show will be taking place this autumn, running from 16 – 17 November, continuing the partnership between Harrogate International Nursery Fair (HINF) and media brand Nursery Online.

Following the successful launch trade event earlier in the year, Harrogate Digital Show part 2 will be coming to the market next month in a bid to bring together brands and retailers who have been unable to meet in person following the cancellation of autumn trade shows including Kind + Jugend, Autumn Fair and the rescheduled October HINF.

With no further physical trade shows planned until March 2021, both HINF and Nursery Online will work with brands, industry experts and retailers to launch the second Harrogate Digital Trade Show, to give retailers the opportunity to learn about product launches that have taken place over the last year during the pandemic while also loking forward to new product launches for 2021.

Live elements of the show will run from 10am – 7pm on Monday 16 November and from 10am – 4pm on Tuesday 17 November, and will include brand demos, retailer interviews and expert workshops. All content will remain live on the Nursery Online website for retailers to view for three months.

With over 6,500 subscribers to Nursery Online, and Harrogate’s show database of visitors standing at around 2,000, this is the perfect opportunity for brands to come together in one easy-to-access place for retailers.

“With the continuing effect of coronavirus on the retail sector, we decided it is more important than ever to bring together our industry in one place,” said Kerry Haynes, publishing director of Nursery Online. “The trade is working hard together and we have seen some fantastic initiatives from brands and also the likes of Progressive Preschool with their upcoming digital awards, and Nursery Today’s product launcher. We have taken on board the feedback from the last digital show and aim to do all we can to support brands and retailers during the months ahead until we see the return of the physical show in the spring.”

“We are delighted to partner with Nursery Online to deliver a second Digital Trade Show in November which will lead into the long-awaited physical Harrogate International Nursery Fair that we aim to deliver at the end of March 2021,” agreed Adrian Sneyd, HINF show organiser.

“We are thankful to report that the 2021 fair is already almost fully booked with many major brands rolling through their 2020 plans to exhibit again, plus a number of new brands all desperate to get back in front of their customers face-to-face once more.”

He continued: “We anticipate that this second virtual event will provide an outlet for exhibitors while we continue to plan for the physical event, scheduled for five months from now. With the majority of the stand space already confirmed, I would urge anyone still hoping to present at what will be one of the first trade shows to run for a very long time, to get in touch soon.”

The Harrogate Digital Trade Show is free to attend. More information can be found at nursery-online.com.
