Schleich grows UK sales team with brace of new hires

Toy company’s ambitious plans for 2019 strengthened by new arrivals to team.

Schleich UK has expanded its sales team with two new hires.

2018 is shaping up to be one of record growth for the company, and with ambitious plans for the future, the two new arrivals will further strengthen its team.

Jen Hodges (above right) arrives as key account manager, returning to the toy industry after some time spent on other ventures. Jen previously enjoyed a ten-year career at LEGO.

In addition, Kate Watson (above left) also joins as key account manager. Kate is also returning to the toy industry after time at John Mills, while she has previously worked at Hasbro, Johnson & Johnson and Waitrose.

“We are delighted to welcome Kate and Jen to the team,” said Thomas Randrup, country manager at Schleich UK. “They join us during a year of growth and their experience and pedigree will be great assets as we strive to realize our ambitions for the company.

“We also welcome them back to the toy industry; their return indicates just what a great industry it is to work in.”
