Plum Products welcomes new launches and new md

‘Family first values and passion for play’ reflected in 2019 range, says Paul Schaffer.

Plum Products has enjoyed a strong start to 2019 – welcoming a new md and also having a successful showing at UK Toy Fair last month for its new collection.

Paul Schaffer – former commercial director and son of the founders of the company – took over as managing director for the UK and Hong Kong from January 15.

Paul commented: “Our family first values and passion for play is reflected in our 2019 collection; our team have designed products that fit perfectly into family life and exhibit years of play value.”

Toy Fair saw the introduction of a number of new lines including additions to the Plum Discovery range, incorporating imaginative water maze play. The collection maintains all the STEAM elements that previous Plum Discovery products comprise, is suitable all year round and encourages child development of fine motor and explorative skills.

In addition, new Globber lines include the launch of its first balance bike.

The company also gave a preview of a new collection to COLOURS By Plum – a teal wooden deckhouse and garden hut, as well as an activity table and sandpit.

For slightly older children, there is also a new concept of trampoline – the Web – which introduces high performance elastic webbing to the SpringSafe range, giving an alternative to the Plum spring-based trampolines.
