Nursery industry heads to Kind und Jugend

The nursery and preschool industry will be taking over the streets of Cologne from 19 – 22 September, as Kind und Jugend 2019 brings thousands of suppliers, buyers, inventors and industry experts together in one place.

A comprehensive showcase for thousands of brands, Kind und Jugend brings together the very latest in babycare product from around the globe. As the leading international trade fair for baby and children’s product, the trade show offers the ideal platform for global business.

Almost 25,000 trade visitors visit the show each year, exploring the latest products on show from more than 1,240 exhibitors, who have themselves travelled from almost 50 countries.

One of the first stops for many UK buyers and visitors will be the BPA-organised UK Pavilion, which will once again feature many of the UK’s finest nursery brands as well as a number of exciting newcomers. Located in Hall 4.1, the popular networking drinks reception will be taking place straight after the show on Thursday 19 September – and everyone is welcome!

With the industry increasingly placing its focus on design, quality, environmental consciousness and sustainability, thousands of new products enter the preschool market each year, with Kind und Jugend itself a veritable hotbed of innovation.

The Innovation Award and Design Park are key locations for anyone looking for international inspiration, while a full seminar programme (held at the Trend Forum) will be looking at design, commercial and international trends throughout the babycare market.

Take a look at the full Kind und Jugend preview in the latest issue of Progressive Preschool to see some of the highlights which will be on show at the industry’s largest annual showcase.
