New preschool series Tina & Tony set to hit UK screens

Edutainment Licensing appointed as distribution partner for new series about a baby elephant and a baby hippo.

With COVID-19 measures keeping millions of children across the globe indoors with their families, strong demand is being seen in the digital marketplace for edutainment shows.

Edutainment Licensing is aiming to help provide new content, having been appointed as distribution partner for Riki’s Tina & Tony series in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, as well as worldwide for school and library digital platforms.

The 3D preschool series follows the adventures of baby hippo Tony and baby elephant Tina, two best friends who love playing games together.

The duo live in Cookie village with their friends Foxy, Rabbit, Bear, Piggy and Clever Mouse, with the world aiming to be a reflection of games which happens inside the children’s rooms.

Each episode sees the characters invent a new game following their imaginations and discover themselves in situations similar to those of real life preschool children.

The 52 five-minute episodes are voiced by children, with each being a complete story containing an educational adventure from which both parents and children can take away a lesson.
