New names in nursery trade

A number of new names have joined the nursery trade in recent weeks, with fresh faces joining the team at GfK, Fundamentally Children and Start-Rite.

Helen Collins will be taking over responsibility as lead for nursery and baby care markets at market analysis company GfK from May. She steps into the role filled by Anthony Williams who will be moving into a global insight position for GfK working with key accounts in consumer technology.

Fundamentally Children has bolstered its research and consultancy capabilities by welcoming Morwenna Ellis – who has been working as part of Fundamentally Children’s Associate Network for the last two years – as head of research and Fiona Pearce as research assistant. Fundamentally Children has also recently moved premises to Welwyn Garden City in Hertfordshire to accommodate the growing business.

Meanwhile, children’s shoe company Start-Rite Shoes has appointed Kate Tansley as product director to provide leadership and direction for the strategic development of its product portfolio.  Kate has previously worked at Harrods, Tesco, BHS and TK Maxx.
