Magformers UK is launching new sets of Stick-O, its award winning preschool magnetic construction toy as it expands its educational business.
Stick-O’s Preschool Deluxe 96-piece set and Preschool 56-piece set both come in branded, stackable, storage boxes and feature 18 of the most popular and easy-to-use chunky magnetic sticks, balls, shapes and other accessories.
The bulkier sets have been specifically curated to offer nurseries, preschools, childminders and children’s centres a simple ‘tip out and play’ option for groups of young children aged from 18 months.
Alongside the product launch, Magformers UK is also recruiting sales agents to develop its growing educational business, where large Magformers classroom sets are used for STEM learning and are already proving popular in primary schools among KS1 and KS2 pupils.
“Having built a strong retailer base for Magformers and Stick-O, we were being asked more and more for larger sets by schools, nurseries and other educational centres,” commented David Kelly, UK md of Magformers. “As we are a subsidiary business of the Magformers global HQ in South Korea, we have been able to specify some exclusive educationally-focused sets for the UK market for both Magformers and Stick-O.
“Magformers classroom sets have been gaining significant traction in the education market and we felt 2022 was the right time to expand Stick-O into that sector with some larger, simple-to-use sets.”
David continued: “The two new colourful sets are jam-packed with lots of magnetic Stick-O sticks, balls and other shapes, as well as a few simple and safe clip-on accessories. They enable younger children to have fun making cute creatures, characters, animals, rattles and a whole host of other models – or they are perfect for creative free play.”
