Joie launches virtual car seat checks

Baby brand Joie has launched a free, virtual car seat check, to ensure parents can rest assured their little ones are travelling safely during the Covid-19 lockdown.

While there may be less car travel at the moment, parents still want to know their child is safe -particularly new parents looking forward to making that essential journy home from the hospital with a newborn.

A new car seat can often be a little confusing to fit, with many independent retailers previously benefitting from being able to offer parents and carers a car seat installation and advice service. In response to the fact that this can no longer be offered due to social distancing regulations, Joie will be bringing the experts directly to parents, via its free, virtual car seat check service.

Once consumers have filled out a short questionnaire, Joie will send them a link to their very own face-to-face meeting with one of the company’s expert fitters. The fitter will be able to show the consumer exactly how the car seat should be fitted and will be able to help troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Retailers can advise consumers to get in touch directly and arrange a free appointment with a Joie car seat expert by filling out this simple online form.
