The Swedish brand is marking the event, which runs throughout October, with new colour additions across a number of its products.
Biology Today recently published a report confirming the long-term benefits of having babies close. Scientists now acknowledge that walking whilst carrying your baby is the most effective way to soothe them.
The new research coincides with BabyBjörn’s celebration of International Babywearing Week with its launch of new colours across a number of its ranges.
Two new colours have launched in the Baby Carrier Mini – a sandy neutral beige and a soft light pink – which are a reflection of parents’ desires for neutral fabrics. The Baby Carrier Mini is easy to put on and the entire front section of the carrier opens to enable parents to put a sleeping baby down. There’s also no fabric between the baby and your chest, making it ideal for skin-to-skin contact.
BabyBjörn’s Harmony also launches in three new shades – Black, Dusty Pink and Cream. Harmony has a long period of use from birth to three years and is crafted in a 3D mesh, making it sturdy, yet airy.
Baby Carrier Move is also now available in Black. Designed for active parents, the carrier has built-in back support and a waist belt which distributes weight away from the shoulders.
