Joie unveils new recycled range

The nursery brand has launched its first range of products featuring recycled materials – the Cycle collection.

The Cycle collection uses the same metal components as other products in the range, ensuring they are safe and long-lasting, but the fabric is made from recycled water bottles.

As well as helping to reduce plastic waste, these materials also use fewer resources during production than virgin materials, with no compromise on quality.

Joie uses some of the 8.8 million tons of plastic waste which are dumped in the ocean each year, and shreds it into flakes, which is then melted down and spun into soft thread. The thread is then knitted into a high quality durable fabric, which is comfortable and safe for babies.

The Cycle range will consist of the Joie versatrax, mytrax pro, i-Snug, i-Spin 360, i-Trillo and ramble XL.
