Bumble Beez, the manufacturer of the Twin Bath, has appointed bébélephant as its UK distributor.
The Twin Bath is the brainchild of mumpreneur Laura McGlade, with the idea coming about following her second pregnancy with twins.
“At the time I conceived the idea, my hands were (and still are) extremely full, with newborn twins and an 18 month old,” Laura commented. “It started when I tried to bathe the girls for the first time on my own after my partner had returned to work. I quickly found myself in a terrifying and dangerous situation, and this is how the twin bath came about.”
“I showed the product to Elliot [Bishop, md of bébélephant] recently and was immediately drawn to his own enthusiasm for the concept. I was particularly impressed by his company’s warmth and determination to help me and the Twin Bath succeed.”
Elliot continued: “This is a great hack for parents and one its hard to believe didn’t exist before now. One cannot fail to be blown away by the work ethic and drive of the creator, Laura, who would make a great case study, were one needed, on how to launch a product. The Twin Bath has been met warmly by the trade and launches with Toys R Us when they re-open shortly.”
The Twin Bath will be featuring on BBC Look North at 6.30pm tonight (22 June).
