Smyths Toys highlights sensory toy product line with play therapist tie-up

Retailer recognises the importance of sensory play and sensory-based learning by teaming with Debbie Cullinane to highlight products.

Smyths Toys is highlighting the importance of sensory play and sensory-based learning.

The retailer has selected a number of sensory toys from its range with the help of qualified play therapist, Debbie Cullinane.

Debbie has over ten years’ experience working with children, runs her own private practice and is a parent and teacher who specialises in play.

Sensory toys offer opportunities to build key skills like problem-solving, sharing, exploring, independence and self-expression. They encourage play that engages one, two or all of the senses: sight, touch, smell, taste, hearing, movement and balance.

“I am privileged and delighted to partner with Smyths Toys Superstores,” commented Debbie. “The sensory toy range includes a wide variety of fantastic sensory play materials, fidget toys and toys for sensory-based learning. These toys will provide amazing sensory play opportunities for babies, toddlers, children and teenagers.”
