New nursery retailer set to open in Peterborough

Family-run indie, My Baby, is preparing to open its doors on April 29th in Stanground, Peterborough.

Husband and wife team, Natalie and Alex Harper, noticed a lack of nursery retailers in Peterborough when they had their second child, so have decided to open their own shop stocking a wide range of nursery products.

Ready to launch in a week’s time, My Baby will offer large items such as travel systems, strollers, car seats, cots and cribs, down to essentials including soothers, teethers, bedding, baths, towels, changing mats and much more.

The new store will stock products from brands such as iCandy, Egg, Babystyle, Ickle Bubba, Maxi-Cosi, Cozy N Safe, Clair de Lune and Out N About.

Alex commented: “We decided to open after having our second daughter. We had a ten year gap and couldn’t believe the lack of options to view baby equipment in Peterborough. We weren’t sure if it was just another sector that had been taken over by online shopping, but the response we’ve had has been fantastic.

“We can’t wait to open and provide the parents of Peterborough with a place to visit and get advice. We believe that’s the start of the adventure when having a baby and the first part of making memories.”
