New PlanToys launches set for Top Drawer

Little Concepts will unveil new lines for sustainable wooden toy brand at London’s Olympia.

Toy and gift distributor Little Concepts is launching ten new products from sustainable wooden toy brand, PlanToys, at Top Drawer this weekend.

PlanToys has been adopting an eco-efficient concept in its toy making since 1981, while it has also introduced several social projects such as toy libraries, schools, cooperative supermarkets, tree re-plantation schemes and museums.

New lines include a celebration of the national animal of Thailand, the elephant.

Two elephant-themed products are included in the autumn/winter launch. The Walking Elephant comes with a mechanic which showcases the realistic walking style of elephants, with $10 from the sale of every toy being contributed to elephant-themed activities for children and the Save the Elephant Foundation in Thailand.

In addition, the Elephant Money Bank aims to help motivate children to save money and learn maths skills, while also enhancing their fine motor skills. They simply need to put a coin in the slot and raise the elephant’s head up to let the coin drop.

Top Draw runs from September 8-10 at London’s Olympia, with Little Concepts exhibiting on stand R41.
