Diono receives prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2019

Award-winning nursery brand Diono has added to its mounting accolades, with a prestigious Red Dot Design Award in product design for the Diono Carus Complete, 4-in-1 baby carrier.

The Red Dot Design Award is a prestigious international product design and communication design prize, awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany.

The ‘Red Dot’ distinction has become established internationally as one of the most sought-after seals of quality for good design.

Winning the ‘Babies and Children’ category, the judging panel of design experts unanimously agreed that Diono’s Carus represented the highest standards in world class design.

“The Red Dot Award recognizes the very best of design in all its guises, in every product category all around the world,” commented Nigel Plested, chief brand and product officer at Diono.

“We believe that this underlines the fact that Carus is a truly original, unique and innovative product, that should continue to go from strength to strength,” he continued.

The Diono Carus has been thoughtfully designed to include the ingenious ‘easy switch’ system which is designed for parent-facing, world-facing and back carrying in comfort.
