Insect Lore teams with The World of Eric Carle

Company bringing to life The Very Hungry Caterpillar with launch of new kits.

Insect Lore has teamed up with The World of Eric Carle to launch a licensed version of its popular Butterfly Garden.

The company showcased the line – which is inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar – at UK Toy Fair last week to much acclaim.

Aimed at children from the age of four, the line includes a Butterfly Growing Kit which gives children (with a bit of help from their parents) the chance to watch their very own ‘hungry caterpillars’ grow to many times their size, change into chrysalides and then emerge as beautiful Painted Lady butterflies.

In addition, the range also includes World of Eric Carle-branded bug magnifiers and viewers.

Insect Lore’s signature Live Butterfly Kits have brought nature and science to life in thousands of classrooms and homes for 50 years. The goal is to give children a friendly, close-up introduction to metamorphosis, entomology and lifecycle learning.
