Bigjigs Toys acquires the Tidlo brand

‘This is a great brand to bring under the Bigjigs Toys banner’ says md, Liz Ireland.

Bigjigs Toys has acquired the wooden Tidlo brand from John Crane.

The company started shipping Tidlo orders this week (from Monday January 29), with the Bigjigs directors saying they are “delighted” with the purchase.

Liz Ireland, md of Bigjigs Toys – pictured above with her fellow Bigjigs directors – commented: “This is a great brand to bring under the Bigjigs Toys banner and offers us potential in all the markets we serve.

“The Tidlo range will bolster our core offering and further defines our footprint in retail.”

Jonathan Thorpe, md of John Crane, added: “I am thrilled for Bigjigs and their team as they have purchased a fantastic brand, a great deal of knowledge and expertise and I am sure, when combined to their already established market, Tidlo will be a fantastic addition and will open even more doors and opportunities.

“Tidlo is in safe hands and I am sure will grow further and I wish Bigjigs the best of luck.”
