Aldi launches nursery furniture range

Aldi’s popular Baby and Toddler event is back this weekend and the bargain retailer is expecting its new nursery furniture range to be in big demand.

The Aldi Mamia furniture set – which includes a wardrobe, a changing unit and a cot bed – costs less than £350 in total and has been compared to the Silver Cross Nostalgia Complete Room set in the national press.

It’s one of many items featured in the hugely popular Baby and Toddler event, which is online from today (Thursday 11 January) and in stores from next week.

Other products include the Aldi Mamia’s moses basket (£19.99) along with stand (£10.99), and 2.5 tog baby sleeping bag (£9.99).

There’s also a Hauck travel system (£99.99), exclusively available on aldi.co.uk for 35% less than its normal RRP of £154.99, and with a car seat, changing bag and foot muff included.

“Everyone knows that finances in January can be tight, which is why Aldi is committed to helping parents save as much money as possible,” says Julie Ashfield, joint managing director of corporate buying at Aldi.

Aldi – which was named supermarket of the year at the Mother & Baby Awards in 2017 – puts on the famous baby and toddler events several times a year, with fantastic Specialbuy prices available across a wide range of products.
