Your essential guide to the Progressive Preschool Awards 2019

Now just five days away, anticipation is really building for this year’s Progressive Preschool Awards. For those of you who have been lucky enough to get tickets, here’s a run-down of what you can expect from the big day itself.

Screen Shot 2019-08-23 at 14.15.58As detailed on your individual tickets (created by MediaSnug) we start the afternoon’s proceedings as we mean to go on, with an 11:45am champagne reception at The Grosvenor House hotel in London.

The serious stuff starts here, with a glass or two of champagne and the opportunity to get up close and personal with over 400 of preschool’s most influential retailers, suppliers, licensing contacts and industry pioneers.

Once we move through into the ballroom you will have the opportunity to check out all the fantastic finishing touches, from the menus the jam-packed goody bags from Skip Hop always deserve a special mention at this point. A sumptuous three course lunch is provided, details of which will be found on bespoke menus from Walker Books with Guess How Much I Love You.

There are also some amazing prizes up for grabs at this year’s raffle – as ever, all proceeds go to industry charity The Light Fund. You’ll have been warmed-up with the much-loved and classic ‘higher or lower’ fun, this year sponsored by Parents Insights.

From here, you can sit back and enjoy the proceedings as ‘comedian’s comedian’ Stuart Goldsmith takes to the stage to host the awards, after he has entertained us all with some award-winning stand-up comedy.

Then it’s onto the awards, where you are encouraged to make some noise for the fantastic finalists and deserving winners – they all deserve huge congratulations for being part of this year’s event. And once the awards themselves are over, don’t forget to come and join us at Mayfair watering hole The Market Tavern for the now-famous after-party.

To remind yourself of all the deserving finalists, please see the following news announcements: product categories, major retail categories, independent retail categories, wholesaler category and the marketing category. The winner of The Outstanding Achievement Award will be revealed on the day.

At the time of writing, just 4 tickets remain for the biggest ever PPS Awards event, so do get in touch asap if you’d like to reserve one of those last few.
