Product finalists announced for PPS Awards 2019

The product finalists for this year’s Progressive Preschool Awards have been announced, revealing the new lines which have made an impact on the preschool retail market over the last 12 months.

The finalists list includes a wide range of companies and brands, spanning a broad selection of toy, nursery, apparel and other categories and reflecting the cross-category appeal at the heart of the Progressive Preschool Awards.

Screen Shot 2019-08-23 at 14.15.58The judging itself took place in London on Tuesday 13 August and saw thousands of products being placed under the spotlight as they were scrutised by a panel of major and independent retail buyers.

“Once again it’s been fascinating to see what the UK’s top preschool buyers made of the products which were submitted for this year’s awards,” said Progressive Preschool’s publishing director Rob Willis. “We were delighted to recieve more submissions of the newest and most innovative products than ever before and – despite today’s cautious retail landscape – it was great to see that on the product development front it’s business for normal for most suppliers and retailers alike. It was a hugely positive day for everyone involved as buyers embraced the opportunity to get hands-on with as many new ranges as possible.”

The winners will be revealed at the Progressive Preschool Awards ceremony on Tuesday 5 November, 2019 at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel. Tickets and tables can be purchased via the digital box office, or by calling 01733 294524.
