Key changes made at Toymaster

Colin Farrow and Yogi Parmar become interim joint managing directors following the departure of Ian Edmunds.

There have been some key management changes at the Toymaster buying group.

Colin Farrow (pictured centre) and Yogi Parmar (pictured right) have been appointed as interim joint managing directors.

Colin and Yogi – who have each been with the company for over 30 years – will continue with their current roles, while also taking on additional responsibilities.

In addition, Paul Reader (pictured left) – who has been with Toymaster for 20 years – has been promoted to marketing director, while also continuing with his current responsibilities.

The moves follow the departure of Ian Edmunds, who had been md of Toymaster since 2015 and, in total, had been with the company for more than 20 years.

“The Toymaster team are committed to Toymaster’s mission statement of ‘Helping Our Members Trade More Profitably’,” said chairman Chris Blatcher in a statement. “With the appointment of Yogi and Colin as interim joint managing directors, and the promotion of Paul to the board as marketing director, we will be able to utilise their passion for our group and Toymaster will continue to go from strength to strength.

“Going forward, Toymaster looks forward to working even more closely with suppliers and members to enhance the group even further. Please join me in wishing them every success in their new roles.”
