Ickle Bubba acquires Babyhoot furniture brand

Car seat and pushchair company Ickle Bubba has acquired up-and-coming baby furniture brand Babyhoot, as of Monday 23 March 2020.

A statement was sent out to customers, suppliers and other contacts from both businesses, notifying them of the impending merger which will strengthen the position of both parties.

It revealed that the transaction is expected to close within the next three weeks. Ickle Bubba will maintain the Babyhoot brand with founder Darren Pumfrett continuing to lead this with support from the wider Ickle Bubba team.

The statement, which was signed by both Darren and Ickle Bubba’s managing director Fran Vaughan, read: “By pooling resources, Babyhoot will continue to grow and we look forward to sharing our exciting plans with you over the coming weeks and months. Please be assured that Babyhoot will continue to operate as usual and should any significant process changes take place you will of course be advised in advance.”

It concluded: “May we take this opportunity to say thank you for your continued support and we look forward to a successful future, together with you.”
