Preschool brands ready to star at The Licensing Awards

Preschool licences secure nominations across a wide range of categories as industry gears up for September event.

The shortlist for The Licensing Awards 2019 has been revealed, with a host of preschool properties making an appearance across a number of categories.

The dedicated Best Licensed Preschool Property (0-5) category includes the following:

  • Bing
  • The Gruffalo
  • Hey Duggee
  • In the Night Garden
  • PAW Patrol
  • Peppa Pig
  • PJ Masks
  • Ryan’s World
  • Thomas and Friends
  • The Very Hungry Caterpillar

Meanwhile, a number of preschool products are featured across a variety of the prestigious Product categories.

The Best Licensed Preschool Apparel Range (0-5) will be contested by Dumbo Baby Fashion Range from Matalan; Harry Potter Kids Nightwear from TDP Textiles for Character.com; Peter Rabbit Collection for M&Co from Paul Dennicci; Miffy Babywear Collection from Tobias & the Bear; Moomin Collection for Primark from Smith & Brooks; Peppa Pig Nightwear from Misirli; and Toy Story Collection for Nutmeg@Morrisions from Blues.

PAW Patrol Ultimate Rescue from Spin Master and Peppa Pig Collection from Character Options have both been nominated for Best Licensed Toys or Games Range, while Amscan’s Elmer Collection is shortlisted for Best Licensed Dress-up or Partyware.

Best Licensed Written, Listening or Learning Range features Oi! Magnetic Activities Collection from Fiesta Crafts; Winnie the Pooh Now We Are Grown Up Collection from Egmont; The World of Eric Carle Collection from Penguin Random House; and Bing Collection from HarperCollins Children’s Books.

Meanwhile, The Gruffalo Tonies (Boxine) has been shortlisted for The Innovation Award, alongside The Very Hungry Caterpillar Moonlite from Spin Master.

The winners will be revealed at a glittering ceremony on Tuesday September 10, held in The Great Room of The Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
