Sophie la girafe grows licensed collections

Infant brand secures new partners as consumer products footprint expands.

French infant brand Sophie la girafe is continuing to attract consumer products partners.

New deals for the company include a range of Sophie la girafe DIY knitting kits from Stitch and Story, which are due to launch in the US shortly.

In addition, layette will be launched in spring/summer 2018 in ten new countries thanks to Danish partner Småfolk, with baby bedlinen completing the range.

The brand is also reinforcing its presence in France this year.

Following the success of the first edition of My Baby Album, Marabout has released a second edition. In addition, the company has also rolled out a cross stitch kit to create Sophie la girafe embroidery.

A new category for the brand is baby shoes, teaming up with Baby Love which makes ballerina and baby sneakers. The range will launch for spring/summer in France and Belgium.

Finally, Trousselier has launched a new collection of nightlights, a musical box and a magic lantern.
