Baby Elegance introduces Little Buds Forest

The brand has pledged to plant a tree for every cot or cot bed purchased and hopes to plant 25,000 native trees over the next 12 months.

The Little Buds Forest is a first step in Baby Elegance’s commitment to creating a greener and more sustainable future for children. The forest in Roscommon, Ireland, is a 2.24 hectare forest already planted and will capture an estimated 1,478 tonnes of CO2 over its lifetime.

By planting native trees, Baby Elegance hopes to restore natural habitats for red squirrels, stoats, birds, and other native wildlife in the area. Revitalising native woodlands brings many benefits to the environment and local communities, such as reducing flood risk, improving soil conservation, boosting biodiversity, and more.

Gavan Costello from Baby Elegance, commented: “We have planted 36,500 trees so far and this is just the beginning of an exciting and promising journey.”
