Harrogate International Nursery Fair 2022 off to a strong start

The Harrogate International Nursery Fair officially opened its doors this morning (Sunday 16 October) – with an expanded showfloor footprint making room for 130 stands, with over 40 of these being new to the show.

The autumn date in 2021 proved to be such a hit with both exhibitors and visitors, that the organiser of the fair made the decision earlier this year to retain the new timeframe.

Clearly a popular move, the demand from exhibitors lead to an extra hall being opened for 2022, as Adrian Sneyd explained: “We’ve had an influx of international exhibitors from over 15 countries. The original hall allocation that was based on the size of the show last year was completely sold out five months before the event; but we were fortunate enough to secure a fifth hall – Kings Suite.”

The trade will be toasting the continued growth of the show at tonight’s after party (taking place from 5.30pm in the Royal Hall), while the winners of the BANTAs are also being crowned this afternoon.
