Five minutes with: Andrew Nicholas, Cozy N Safe

Preschoolnews.net caught up with Cozy N Safe’s global sales and marketing manager to find out more about the car seat manufacturer’s upcoming expansion plans and launches, how 2021 was for the business and what’s next.

Could you tell us a bit about the new launches you have planned?

“Cozy N Safe have huge range expansions planned for next year. These include adding to our existing i-Size car seat range, by launching a further two more i-Size car seats.

“Starting with the Augusta i-Size in the first few months of 2022. The Augusta i-Size is a high backed booster seat suitable for children 100-150cm (group 2/3 equivalent).

“We are also branching out into the stroller sector with a range of strollers and travel systems (including an i-Size baby carrier). And if that wasn’t enough we also have a range of highchairs, baby swings and rockers. We have been working on these for over a year now and can’t wait to show them to the world.”

Congratulations on the BANTA award. What do you think makes your products stand out?

“Thank you. We were absolutely thrilled when they announced the Morgan i-Size as the winner. To be recognised not just in the car seat industry but to win the Best New Product across the entire baby and nursery industry was amazing.

“The judges were impressed with the overall build quality, the ease of use (especially the smooth rotation). One of the features that we love about the Morgan i-Size is the seamless recline. No more set recline positions ensures your child is always comfortable and undisturbed.”

How did the industry react to your upcoming product lines at Harrogate last year?

“Harrogate was a great place to launch all of our new i-Size seats, stroller, swings, rockers and baby carrier concepts. The reaction we got blew us away.  We were able to have a sit down and catch up with all of our existing customers and also start new customer relationships that I’m sure will last for many years.”

How was 2021 for your business?

“2021 has been a great year for Cozy N Safe, filled with challenges such as lockdowns at the start of the year and of course the shipping crisis. But we have overcome them all.

“At the start of the shipping crisis we made a bold move to bring in more stock than we ever have before. This gamble paid off and meant we haven’t experienced massive stock out and have kept up with demand. Cozy N Safe has grown and is in more stores than ever before and we can’t wait to see what next year has in store.”

What are your plans for 2022?

“We have big plans for 2022. Growing as a business and bringing in more staff and resources to better help and support our retailers. Launching the new stroller, highchair, swings and rockers and new car seats. As well as bringing new innovations to bestselling lines and more. We have so much planned and can’t wait to share it with you all.”
