Date announced for BPA AGM

The date and venue for the Baby Products Association’s AGM 2019 has been announced and will be taking place at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in London on Thursday 13 June 2019.

The annual event offers something a bit extra to most AGMs as it offers an unmissable opportunity to help shape the future of the UK’s nursery industry. The meeting also allows delegates to network with like-minded colleagues and other companies connected with the baby products industry, giving the opportunity to discuss and share information about vital issues which could affect your business.

The BPA’s managing director, Robert Anslow, has urged members to show support of the nursery trade association and take advantage of the benefits it has to offer by coming along to this important annual event.

A number of informative presentations will also be taking place, including Jenny Kieras of The Insights People, a market intelligence company specialising in the kids, parent and family sectors working with some of the biggest brands in the nursery sector. Jenny will be giving BPA members a heads-up on consumer trends in the nursery sector and an insight into how they can engage with consumers effectively and encourage sales in an ever-changing highly competitive marketplace.

Companies in attendance will also be able to discover how companies in the nursery sector can claim back a significant percentage of their research and development investment through a government tax incentive called Research & Development Tax Credits.

Meanwhile, nominations for the BPA’s Executive Committee and Technical Committee have closed and the successful candidates will be announced at the AGM.
