Nichola Ludlam-Raine: “Beaba is passionate about its products”

PreschoolNews.net spoke to published author and resident BBC expert dietitian Nichola Ludlam-Raine about her recent partnership with feeding and weaning brand Beaba.

What does working with Beaba mean to you?

“I’m incredibly proud to be working with Beaba, who are helping me to document and share my baby’s weaning journey to help other first time parents through this exciting and important time. Beaba’s company ethos is to promote a healthy lifestyle and positive eating habits for children, (while also making parents lives easier), so it’s a match made in heaven for me!”

How does the partnership work?

“When pregnant with H I started @mummynutrition (7.5k followers) as a parenting specific platform to document my journey as a first-time mum, while incorporating my passion for healthy living, which was already online at @nicsnutrition (25k followers). I love being able to share useful and practical tips; including how to feed your baby healthy food that doesn’t cost the earth or take too long to prepare. It’s great to be associated with such a lovely and growing brand.”

Can you tell us why Beaba appealed to you?

“Beaba is a brand which is passionate about its products and I love the look and functionality; for example the spoons are not only designed to fit perfectly into babies mouths but are made from a soft silicone meaning they are BPA-free. I love the fact that most items are dishwasher safe too; this is ideal for busy mums! And let’s not forget the revolutionary Babycook, which helps retain essential vitamins and minerals while cooking. The NEO is next-level stylish as well!”

What plans are in place for you to help promote Beaba collections and launches throughout the rest of 2019?

“It’s all really exciting! We have videos, blog posts and social posts planned, showing some super easy recipes that parents will be able to follow and make at home quickly and simply. I’ll be discussing what types and textures of foods are appropriate at different stages, as the weaning journey progresses, plus some complementary food combinations etc. It’s a new experience for me – I’m sure we will have a lot of fun (and mess) along the way – I’m so looking forward to getting started!”
