Read the March/April issue of Progressive Preschool

The March/April issue of Progressive Preschool is available now, previewing the upcoming Harrogate International Nursery Fair in addition to a host of in-depth product features, exclusive interviews, insightful columns and other essential industry information.

Despite the shadow of Brexit looming over much of the preschool trade and a complete lack of clarity about what it will really mean for retailers, suppliers and distributors across the preschool industry, the latest issue of Progressive Preschool is anything but pessimistic.

While there is no doubt that the uncertainty is difficult and trading has been tough in recent months, there is, as always, a silver lining to be found for the determined independent retailer.

It was heartening to see so many buyers at the recent shows – London Toy Fair, Spielwarenmesse and Spring Fair were all busier than they have been in recent years, with exhibitors delighted with the number of retailers getting out there and looking for something different to entice consumers to their store.

A similar buzz is already forming around Harrogate International Nursery Fair, which has been attracting fresh exhibitors at a rapid rate and is now completely sold out. PPS has previewed the show which is taking place from 24 – 26 March 2019. With a whole host of brand new names and returning exhibitors alike, it’s the most effective way to ensure that you know exactly what’s in store for the rest of the year.

Of course, that’s not all we have in store for you in this issue, which also includes an in-depth look at the Bugaboo brand as it celebrates 20 years in business as well as a fantastic new column from the team at Kids Insights as they look at the way tech is really used by our smallest consumers. And there’s product features on car seats, traditional toys and slings as well.

Enjoy – and if you have any news or ideas for us to look at in the future, please don’t forget to get in touch!
