Dorel appoints new general manager

Dorel Juvenile has appointed Barbara Echevarria as the new general manager for the UK and Ireland business, following the retirement of industry stalwart Andrew Ratcliffe.

Barbara has joined the rest of the Dorel team at the company’s UK headquarters, based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

With over 22 years of experience working at a senior level in the parenting sector including significant periods at Mothercare and Disney, Barbara brings with her a wealth of valuable insight.

In her new role, Barbara will be responsible for managing the team at Dorel and driving forward Dorel’s five key brands in the UK and Ireland markets (Maxi-Cosi, Quinny, Tiny Love, Baby Art and Safety 1st).

“Maxi-Cosi is a significant, longstanding and well-respected player in the nursery industry,” says Barbara. “I am excited to be leading the UK and Ireland team to create and shape the business’ future.”
