Cybex appoints Roland Auschel as chief sales officer

Cybex has announced the appointment of Roal Auschel as its chief sales officer.

In his new role, Roland is responsible for all omnichannel sales platforms worldwide, and reports directly to ceo Johannes Schlamminger.

Roland will expand the brand’s already established premium positioning with strategic partners, strengthen the existing specialist retail partnerships and shape the transformation of the sales organisation.

With many years of experience and expertise in designing global sales strategies and organisations, Roland plays a crucial role in implementing Cybex’s ambitious growth plans.

Roland’s career includes being part of the Adidas group for 33 years, most recently he was appointed as chief sales officer, and has held a position on the executive board for almost a decade.

Roland commented: “I have already been able to experience a success story intensively, and am looking forward to the great opportunity to contribute in shaping Cybex’s new chapter. I firmly believe in achieving results with a regionally adapted sales structure with a strong partner landscape.”

Johannes Schlamminger, Cybex ceo, added: “We are at the beginning of the next major growth phase. With Roland Auschel, we will significantly accelerate the transformation of our global sales organisation.”

Martin Pos, founder and executive chairman of Cybex, said: “Roland Auschel is a very valuable asset for our company, and his appointment comes at exactly the right moment. He brings with him immense experience that we now need to achieve our next ambitious expansion and growth goals. We are very much looking forward to our future together.”
