Top US nursery trends revealed

Nursery room inspiration searches in the US are up by 2,200% on Pinterest.

The team at Your Baby Club has scoured social media to find the top interior trends for nurseries. The top seven trends are:

Neutral nursery

Crisp, clean, neutral nurseries are proving popular. Google searches have increased by 284% over the past 12 months, while on TikTok, #neutralnursery has amassed 72.7 million views.

Soft, muted colour palettes are the core and provide a blank canvas for personal touches. Adding a touch of colour with sage greens, pastels and taupe, is also popular.

Forest theme

Wood accents, natural textures, graphic wallpaper and woodland creatures are all elements of this theme, and Pinterest searches are up by 156%.

Vintage nursery

This look incorporates a touch of tradition using florals, blush pinks, sage greens and wooden accents, paired with brushed copper, old-fashioned photos and vintage toys. Searches on Google have increased by 92% in the last year.

Celestial theme

This gender neutral theme incorporates the sun, moon, stars and planets. On Pinterest, searches are up 169%, while on TikTok, #celestial has gained 515.1 million views.

In the clouds

Clouds and hot air balloons are a key trend this year. Pinterest searches are up 122% over the last year.

Nautical nursery

The seaside inspired nursery has resurfaced, with searches up by 154% on Pinterest in the last three months. Featuring whites, navy blue, and accents of red, paired with sea creatures, boats and anchors.

Boho Baby

Indoor plants, natural fibre rugs, wooden furniture and macrame are all key for this theme, as well as bringing together shades of beige and cream with soft browns and light oak furnishings.
