The Baby Show prepares for Birmingham event

Pregnancy and baby event, The Baby Show with Lidl GB head to Birmingham from 12 – 14 May.

Exhibitors including iCandy, UPPAbaby, Joie, Mamas & Papas, Cosatto, Nuna, Chicco, Babybjorn, Silver Cross, Stokke and Cybex will be present at the show, as well as boutique and emerging brands which the show will be supporting in the ‘New kids on the block’ section.

There’s a buggy testing track to give consumers the chance to take pushchairs for a spin on different terrains so they can be confident they’re buying the perfect buggy.

Mallory Reynolds-Trout, show manager at The Baby Show, commented: “The NEC in Birmingham is such a fantastic venue and the show always attracts thousands of people who travel across the UK to shop for their impending – or new arrivals.

“We know that finances are tighter than ever right now and so we’ll have some great discounts to help parents’ baby budgets stretch even further. Whether it’s a new car seat you need, a buggy, some nursery furniture or feeding products and clothes, we’ll help you compare, try and buy so you can walk away knowing you got the very best value for money.”

The show will host a range of expert speakers on the live talks stage, including Jennie Dunman from Daisy First Aid, Annabel Karmel MBE, sleep expert Rosey Davidson, Midwife Pip Davies, The Naked Doula and many more. There will also be a live Q&A with Made in Chelsea stars, Ollie and Gareth Locke, who will talk about their surrogacy journey and their excitement at becoming dads for the first time.

CBeebies and Dadvengers’ Nigel Clarke will also be chatting to presenter Simon Thomas and other guests about the transition to fatherhood.

Other features include a free shop & drop, collect by car service and a baby feeding cafe with complementary Aisha baby food, bottle warmers and microwaves, as well as a private area for breastfeeding.

Headline sponsor Lidl GB will be offering complimentary Lupilu nappies and wipes in the Lidl Lupilu baby changing area, while shoppers can grab something to eat in The Baby Show Cafe with Joie.
