Kabode launches into the UK

The organic children’s bedding brand has announced its first UK retailer listing with JoJo Maman Bebe.

Kabode offers bedding which is good for children and the environment and shares the passion for sustainability with JoJo Maman Bebe.

All of the Kabode ranges are made with organic cotton. Products also contain wool, scientifically proven to improve the quality of sleep, as well as bamboo, which is breathable, absorbs moisture and is hypoallergenic. The current ranges include fitted sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and quilts.

Two of the five Kabode design collections will be available at JoJo Maman Bebe – Rainbow and Wildlife from August, and a sector specific marketing campaign for the brand will launch and be communicated by the Jojo team from mid-September.

Founder, Humayun Ahmad, commented: “Seeing Kabode listed on JoJo Maman Bebe is testament to the quality and product range we have created. We are thrilled that in just a year since conception of the brand that the range will be accessible to the JoJo customer.

“As a parent myself, I strongly believe in the value of exposing my children to new experiences, actively encouraging them to discover more about themselves and to have confidence in their own ideas, and this is what Kabode designs are all about, offering our children exposure to colour and engaging imagery, helping them tap in to their own creativity and now all of JoJo’s customers can enjoy what we know will enhance their children’s creativity and sleep experience… we know that a good night’s sleep can create the best start to the next day.”

Kabode is also pending B Corp status (to be officially reviewed mid-August) and is also a proud – meaning 1% of its annual sales are donated to environmental non-profit organisations. This aligns with JoJo’s B Corp certification.
