LEGO underlines position on Ukraine and Russia

LEGO has paused shipments of its products to Russia and has made a donation to the emergency relief efforts in Ukraine.

A statement from the company reiterated that its priority is the safety of all of its colleagues – it is in contact with its Ukrainian team and is providing ongoing support to ensure their safety.

LEGO is also working to support other colleagues around the world impacted by the continuing crisis including its team in Russia.

Shipments of products has been paused to Russia given the extensive disruption to the operating environment.

In addition, together with the LEGO Foundation and Ole Kirk’s Fond, the company is donating DKK 110 million (approx. USD 16.5 million) to emergency relief efforts, with a focus on providing support for children and families. The donation will be made to existing partners, including the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), Save the Children and the Danish Red Cross.
