Natural Baby Shower gives back on Giving Tuesday

The team at Natural Baby Shower has been spreading a little natural Christmas magic with a range of donations to three charities on Giving Tuesday.

Giving Tuesday is the global day when people are encouraged to do something to support causes that mean something to them. Natural Baby Shower decided to give back to three charities which help so many in the nursery community.

The company donated 20% of sales from its Christmas shop to three charities – Stripey Stork, Greenfingers Charity, and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

The retailer has worked with charities including Stripey Stork for several years, so knows how important baby essentials are to families experiencing hardship. For that reason, the company made an in-kind donation to Stripey Stork of pyjamas, swaddles and blankets from brands including Merino Kids and Fabelab, who had made a donation.

Thanks to the team at Ergobaby, Natural Baby Shower was also able to donate new carriers to Baby Basics UK.

The giving didn’t stop there – on Tuesday 30th November, the Natural Baby Shower team visited everyone at Shooting Star Children’s Hospice to volunteer their time and decorate a Christmas grotto space for all the families supported by the charity to enjoy during December. Fabelab Aps, Bookspeed and Micro Scooters UK also donated gifts to put under the tree.

A spokesperson for Natural Baby Shower commented: “Using our platform to give back and support charities is something we’ve always been passionate about, yet is especially important leading up to the festive period.”
