Dorel returns to Harrogate

Following a five-year absence, Dorel Juvenile is returning to exhibit at Harrogate International Nursery Fair next month, so preschoolnews.net caught up with Nicola Coletti, marketing communications manager, to find out what the plans are for the show.

Why has Dorel decided to return to Harrogate this year?

“After a hard couple of years for everyone, we have been really excited to interact with our retailers once again and safely showcase the great products that launched during the pandemic, as well as a few new 2022 launches. We are really looking forward to exhibiting again and have a busy few days lined up.”

Will this be your first physical show since the pandemic?

“Yes. It will certainly be strange but what a great event to do first! Over the last 18 months we have demonstrated our products to both retailers and consumers with a series of virtual events. These have been enjoyable, but we are looking forward to showcasing our ranges in person.”

How has the lack of trade shows affected business? Are you looking forward to seeing customers face to face again?

“Although the restrictions undoubtedly affected all businesses, we found that we were able to continue supporting our retailers through other means such as online marketing and virtual calls. We are looking forward to physically interacting with our customers once again and exhibiting our products in a space that allows them to tangibly experience them first hand.”

What will you have on show at Harrogate? Any new launches at the show?

“You will have to wait until the show, but we can confirm that there will be lots of new launches including additions to current ranges, as well as a completely new category launch.”

What other trade shows are you exhibiting at over the next year?

“None as of yet, which is why we’re gearing up and putting all our efforts into making Harrogate a great success.”
