Bigjigs Toys acquires Agenta Education

Acquisition sees company expand its educational offering.

Bigjigs Toys is expanding its educational offering following the acquisition of Agenta Education.

The Agenta Education range stems from a like-minded family business boasting similar core values as Bigjigs to deliver quality, safe and affordable products which are responsibly sourced and complement childhood development through fun, exploration and learning.

“After 30 years of trading as Agenta, the Vargerson family has decided to retire from the educational supply business,” explained md, Steve Vargerson. “With the recent loss of founder Les, it seems a right and wise decision to bow out. We are delighted to pass on our business to team at Bigjigs Toys.”

Sam Ireland, director at Bigjigs Toys, continued: “Bigjigs Toys are delighted to have made a further business acquisition in the educational area.

“We have a considerable amount of work to do to integrate the Agenta Education stock lines into the Bigjigs Toys business, but are working as quickly as we can to do this so that we are able to fulfil orders to our educational customers as soon as possible.”
