MAM wins NHS contract

MAM products will be available through the NHS for the first time, after the business won a major contract to become an official supplier to the provider.

MAM will provide 29 product lines to the NHS supply chain as part of a two year contract for infant feeding and accessories and post pregnancy products. The contract covers England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Breast pumps and accessories, feeding bottles and accessories, soothers and sterilisers from MAM will now be made available through the NHS supply chain, helping MAM work towards its ambition to reach every pregnant mother giving birth under NHS care.

Tracey Rixon, head of brand relations at MAM, commented: “We are so pleased to have been chosen as a key supplier of post pregnancy and feeding products to the NHS for the first time.

“We’ve worked exceptionally hard to establish MAM as a pioneering brand that is genuinely trusted by families right across the UK to help them during some of the most special moments of their lives. It’s great to see that recognition being reflected by health care professionals too with this contract award.

“People know they can rely on the quality, safety and convenience of our products and its fantastic to be able to say that many of our most well-loved offerings will now be available to those in NHS care.”

Healthcare has been pivotal to MAM’s ethos since it was first founded 48 years ago. All MAM products are researched and developed in partnership with experts, including more than 30 medical partners globally, ranging from physicians and midwives to development educators and scientists
