Doona gets an upgrade

The new Doona i model features the R129 regulations integrated into the product.

With the pre-order already selling out, the new Doona i offers all the features that the car seat is known for, as well as improved features.

Officially adhering to the latest R129 car seat safety standard, Doona i offers the most up to date safety requirements, including a five-point harness and advanced side impact protection.

The Doona i features a double wall structure to provide side impact protection, and also comes with the Doona SIP add on, offering more enhanced side impact protection by absorbing energy in case of a side-on collision. The magnetic connection makes it simple to attach when needed.

Other new features include an adjustable headrest for added comfort and safety, which can be moved as children grow. The new Velcro should pads make it easier to place the child into the seat, while a new adjustable handlebar with faux leather cover, now reaches 102cm for the comfort and convenience of the whole family.

The quick release wheels make it east to clean, replace or store. Features of the original Doona remain, including the Anti-Rebound Protection and the UPF 50 sun protection hood.

Available in Sahara Sand, Nitro Black and Desert Green, and all the textiles are removable and machine washable.

Marc Kelly, managing director, said: “In a competitive category, being the only car seat with wheels and meeting the new R129 guidelines, is something we are very proud of.”
