Toytown opens its biggest UK store

The new superstore in Merry Hill also includes a dedicated Babyworld nursery department.

Toytown has further increased its retail footprint, opening its biggest ever store in the Merry Hill shopping centre.

As well as a full range of toys, games and entertainment products, the new superstore also boasts a dedicated Babyworld nursery department including a range of baby items such as car seats, nursery furniture and prams.

“We are so excited to be able to share our comprehensive Toytown range and our great value products with visitors at Merry Hill,” commented Alan Simpson, owner and md of Toytown. “The centre is the perfect location to increase our footprint in the West Midlands and the store at Merry Hill represents our biggest ever store; complete with our Babyworld nursery department.”

Duncan Burns, marketing manager at Merry Hill, continued: “We are pleased to welcome Toytown to the centre, offering a huge range of toys, baby essentials and games, which we’re sure will be popular with many of our family shoppers.

“In addition to the return of Mothercare inside Boots earlier this year, the arrival of Babyworld as part of Toytown offers parents even more choice. We look forward to announcing more of the new brands coming to Merry Hill in the near future.”
