Tonies runs staycation campaign for families this summer

With school summer holidays upon us, tonies is offering parents the chance to get 10% off its entire collection for those looking to keep children occupied on holiday.

The staycation campaign will run until Monday 2 August and is available for products purchased from its website  – https://tonies.com/en-gb/ – using the code ‘STAY10′.

A recent study by Tonies, which offers safe, screen free entertainment, found that it takes parents 45 minutes to get children to sleep in the summer months. Over half of parents blamed the increased daylight, and 40% thought it was due to children being more active and playing outside for longer during the day. Screens were also an area of concern, with over a third saying that it takes longer to get children to sleep due to an increase in screen time while off school in the summer holidays.

Helping to set children up for a good night’s sleep while away from home, the Toniebox is perfect for adventures, as once charged, the device is completely mobile, and teamed with the new Tonies Headphones, little ones can enjoy stories, music and educational content on their Toniebox wherever they go.

To celebrate the launch of the campaign, Tonies has teamed up with Alexander House Scotland to offer parents a chance to win a two-night family stay at the luxury self-catering property, with £500 spending money and a bundle of family friendly goodies from Peppa Pig World, Trunki and Jojo Maman Bebe.

Pinky Laing, UK partnerships at Tonies, commented: “As the ultimate travel companion for children on the go, Tonies could not be more thrilled to be offering our collection of summer essentials at great value for parents this summer – to enrich families’ travel adventures.

“At Tonies we know that keeping children entertained during the holidays can be challenging, from those long car journeys to fitting in a nap time, there’s always the temptation to indulge children in screen time. This staycation period, we’re encouraging parents to treat children to a screen-free, educational and fun alternative with our interactive, portable audio player.

“To celebrate the launch, we’re so excited to be partnering with such prestigious and well-loved parenting brands to offer one lucky family the ultimate summer staycation, with their Toniebox and Tonies in tow.”

Jo Lewis, co-owner and manager at Alexander House Scotland, added: “We are thrilled to have partnered with Tonies to celebrate the summer of UK staycations for families. Our luxury accommodation is the perfect option for families looking to travel closer to home this year. With a huge number of outdoor activities and breath-taking surroundings, a stay at our self-catering properties offers the perfect setting for young families to unwind and spend quality time together.”
