Toy chain closes all 172 stores but will host ‘boredom busting’ deals and activities online.
The Entertainer has closed all of its 172 stores across the country due to the new COVID-19 coronavirus measures, but has promised its website will continue to host ‘boredom busting’ deals and activities.
The retailer – which confirmed its temporary closure yesterday (March 23) ahead of the official announcement by the government that all non essential retailers would close – is now directing customers to TheToyShop.com for games, crafts and toys, plus elc.co.uk where parents can find educational toys to aid learning and development.
The website and social channels will also provide a hub of resources for parents who are looking to keep the kids entertained at home including downloadable activity sheets and ideas for ways to play in the garden.
The Entertainer has also promised ‘boredom busting’ deals available on a wide range of toys and games, to make keeping the family entertained at home as affordable as possible.
