Super Wings licensing drive ready for take off

First wave of UK licensees signed by Rockpool Licensing for preschool property.

The first wave of UK licensees for Alpha Group’s preschool animation Super Wings have been revealed.

Brokered by Rockpool Licensing, licensees on board include Aykroyd and TDP for nightwear, underwear and swimwear; BM Fashions (Global Licensing and Fashion UK) for daywear; Roy Lowe & Sons for socks; Dreamtex for bedding and bathroom textiles; and MV Sports for wheeled toys and ride-ons.

“Our take-off with Super Wings has been perfect,” said Vickie O’Malley, md of Rockpool Licensing. “We’re delighted with the enthusiastic response to Super Wings from the UK licensing community.

“Super Wings’ impressive performance on Cartoonito and Tiny Pop, along with the amazing job that Mark and the team at Alpha toys have done with UK launch, has generated a great buzz around the trade.

“We have high expectations for Vegas and look forward to announcing more great partnerships over coming months.”

Antoine Erligmann, vp media, TV and consumer products at Alpha Group, added: “We are thrilled to be partnering with Rockpool Licensing who have been able to bring on board renowned licensing partners in key categories over a short period of time.

“Our partnership, great performances with our UK TV broadcast partners and the support of our UK toy division, is taking the Super Wings brand to the next level.”
